If we experience times when difficulties can feel too much to face, personal counselling can offer opportunities to explore our issues in a supportive, confidential space. Together, we can focus on you and help you to explore whatever is bothering you. Sharing our feelings, being heard and accepted can enable a deeper understanding of ourselves. Over time, the process can help to release our innate potential and discover future possibilities.
I am a fully qualified Person Centred Counsellor / Psychotherapist. I studied at the University of Chichester in West Sussex UK. Previously I worked in the National Health Service for more than 20 years as a Registered Nurse. During my last 10 years of nursing I worked as a Community Nurse and in Public Health as a Health Visitor. I have extensive experience of working with adults and have worked closely with older people and with families. As a Person Centred Counsellor my aim is to offer and build a relationship with you which is based on trust, genuineness and acceptance. I will not judge you, no matter what you bring to counselling sessions. We can talk about what has led you to consider counselling and I can answer any questions you may have about how I work.
